Elohim
Wygryny, the little village in East Prussia, in the land
Namely there, where my little, little footprints are left in the sand.
For it was there, oh my heavenly Father who art in heaven,
For then when I was only in my little seven.
At that time I did not know that thou wrough miracles
And that thou parted the Red Sea
But the very first miracle that thou hath performed for me.
Thou hath delivered us from the Devil
The innocent life he came to level.
For precious Father who art in heaven, if it wouldn't be for thee
Surely another day of sunshine we wouldn't be able to see.
For then when Lena Leick and I walked to school and
ALAS!! ALAS!!
When the deadly moments were upon us
And how thou hath delivered us from kidnappers hands
For surely we had no idea how thou parted the Red Sea
But the very first miracle there where thou wroughtest for me.
My dearest Father who art in heaven,
For then I was only in my little seven
And if it wouldn't be for thee,
Surely another day of sunshine I wouldn't be able to see.
For thy moving wisdom that doesn't sleep
Then when the terror begins to sweep
The vey wrong moment yet in the very right place
When thou slapped the terror makers right in the face.
Not through reading a story about how thou parted the Red Sea
Neither gazing through the binoculars like a spy,
But with my own naked eye
How thou has wrought the first miracle for me.
Oh my Father who art in heaven,
For then I was only in my little seven
And if it had not been solely for thee,
Surely another day of sunshine I wouldn't have been able to see.
Oh Wygryny, you little village in East Prussia, the land
Where my little, little footprints are left in the sand.
